Union Kirk provides a stunning setting for your wedding ceremony. Guests will be welcomed by a timeless, contemporary venue with high ceilings and original features, making the moment you first see each other down the aisle truly magical.

Our reception area is perfect for celebrating with loved ones. Enjoy drinks and canapés while your photographer captures special moments. Then, move to the beautifully transformed Grand Hall for your wedding breakfast.
Your Wedding Breakfast
Our adaptable space can be customised to your preferences, whether you prefer traditional round tables with crisp white linens or rustic banquet-style arrangements. We’ll work closely with you and your suppliers to make your vision a reality. Our skilled in-house chefs offer a variety of dishes. If there’s a specific dish you have in mind that isn’t on our menu, your coordinator will be happy to work with our chefs to accommodate your preferences.

Transforming the Grand Hall for the third time highlights Union Kirk's enchanting versatility. With a portable dance floor, in-room bar, and ample stage area for seamless entertainment, it creates a magical atmosphere where the dance floor thrives under adjustable lighting for an unforgettable evening.

Our Venue
Designed by James Matthew and built in 1869, this grade B listed building has been carefully and sympathetically converted whilst retaining many of the traditional features that you would expect to find in your “Kirk.” Including the stunning stained-glass windows, vaulted ceiling, and intricate cornicing.
As your guests enter via the classic arched entrance and the grand staircase they will be greeted by a timeless, contemporary venue.
The high ceilings and original features second only to that magical moment, that is, the first glimpse of each other from either end of the aisle.

Located within a beautiful church conversion in the heart of Aberdeen’s city centre, Union Kirk is well placed for a chic and sophisticated city wedding.
Not only does our venue boast swoon-worthy interior features that make a stunning backdrop for your wedding pictures, there are a variety of other unique and interesting locations nearby that your photographer can whisk you off to - making for a wonderfully memorable wedding album.
Our Cuisine
The Wedding Breakfast is an integral part of the wedding tradition... so named as the first meal as husband and wife, representing new beginnings.
You’ll experience exceptional cuisine from our team of chefs, using seasonal ingredients for the most delicious and memorable dining experience. We have a wide selection of formal dining menus available, as well as guest beverages, buffets, canapés and children’s menus.
